Neck, Back and Spinal Injuries

Neck, back and spinal injuries frequently occur in large truck and serious automobile accidents. These can be debilitating injuries that are beyond repair. In some cases, clients face chronic pain and future treatments throughout the rest of their lives. These can be permanent injuries with lifelong consequences. Tim has handled neck, back and spinal injury cases throughout his career.

Future surgeries and medical treatment is always an important consideration with these injuries. The presentation of X-RAY, MRI, CT scan or other graphic depiction showing the client’s injuries can be a dramatic tool that can increase the value of a given case. The soft tissues of the body are often implicated in these injuries however, causing scarring or permanent change in affected tissues. These are but a few of the effects that can come from sprained, strained and torn ligaments or muscles.

Back, neck and spinal injuries do not always show up clearly in diagnostic testing, and can be hard to prove. These injuries can further occur at low impact speeds in automobile accidents, with proof of the injury producing mechanism becoming more important to the jury, through competent, but understandable, medical testimony of expert physicians and medical providers. As a result, proving these injuries often requires working closely with these medical providers and other professionals. Tim has this experience.
